Picked up my new to me BOV/daily driver. It's a 1995 Dodge 2500 single cab long bed. Has the good old 12v cummins in it. I picked it up for 4k. It has rust issues but I picked up a bed for it last night and the rest is just little for the rust repair. It runs strong. There will be pics to follow later tonight after we get the new bed on. Now I need to come up with a good list of Mods for it.

very cool, I would just go thru it and replace all hoses, belts and fuel lines and fluids, check brakes, check usual wear items ,esp in suspension and steering. Just make it as sound as possible And then look into mods, like wheels, tires, lift, bumpers, lights, etc etc.

Yep it is a 4x4. It does need some front end work but as far as most things go it was owened by a mechanic and he kept up with it pretty well as far as I can tell.

Heh...most mechanics are the worst at keeping their own junk up to par..they work on other stuff so much, they dont have the motivation to do their own..but maybe youll get lucky, lol.

Oh yeah the cummins forums have been my addiction. I do have to check the KDP when I get a chance to tear into it. We got the bed on last night. We had to weld the rear cross member while we had the bed off. Not a bad job for s couple of amatures though. More to follow soon.
