Does anyone have experience with any well water testing laboratories.  I'm looking at watercheck.com but due to the price I'd like to check here first.
The well water where I'm at was last tested 10 years ago by my father who is notorious for being less than thorough.  I'm certain he went to the local hardware store and bought the cheapest test kit they had in stock.
Locals around here dump EVERYTHING as opposed to proper disposal so I'd rather buy water than poison my family.

Contact the county.

I use the WaterSafe test kit every other year.  It works well and is easy to use.  http://watersafe-test-kits.com/watersafe-well-water.shtml

But, like others have stated your county health department most likely will do it too.

Most County health departments do it for free or a small charge.
