So I want to get my husband a new bullet proof vest for Christmas. He would like to wear it as discreatly as possible but also able to wear it under his plate carrier. I looked at bullet proof me and looking for more options. Have to sell to civilians. Thanks.

I looked at bullet proof me and looking for more options. Have to sell to civilians. Thanks. The thinner IIIA GoldFlex BPMe carries is nice, thin, flexible and relatively easy to conceal. BPMe is very good for customer service and fast shipping, I talked to them around lunch time on a Friday and the FedEx guy was delivering my order at 10am Saturday (Granted I'm only a couple hundred miles from them). |

Even though IIIA vests have become lighter and more flexible, I prefer a II vest instead, as its just more comfortable year round.
If you're looking for a vest that will work with in conjunction plates, then of course go with a IIIA, but if hes using stand alone plates, I'd suggest weighing the threats for your area and seeing if you really need the extra weight. Something uncomfortable will not be pleasant to wear, and won't be worn as often. |
