Subject is pretty self explanitory. With the recent incidences combined with the current world situation are we facing another global conflict. This question was posed to me and i do not have an answer. And if so, is the us slated to be a battleground |

With everything going now, from dang near every big country drowning in debt (and un-willing to change their ways, including us), trouble with the Muslim community, tension in the ME, the VERY soon collapse of the US Dollar as the world reserve currency as we pass 16 trillion in debt, the Arab Spring, the Arab extremists seem to be getting ready for a large scale strike, and a liberal, progressive, socialist, un-experienced community aggravator whose only skill is making a nice sounding speech in charge of keeping everybody thinking with cool heads...... Umm, how does this end well??? |

Quoted: Dont forget Isreal is getting ready to bomb the shit out or Iran. That should set off a shit storm Sorry, forgot about that .Oh, and we are going to now derate out ability to fight a two front war... Smell that? Someones cooking.. And it smells like shit sandwiches for everyone

And if so, is the us slated to be a battleground With as much force projection as our country has, if bad guys can get here to turn it into a battleground we're pretty fucked. Maybe not LONG term, but that would mean they would have gotten past all our air and sea assets. Then again, it might play out "Red Dawn" style and years of infiltration by illegals turns out to be an invasion. |

Oh, don't forget about the Chinese nationalists callin for war with Japan, and then the Japanese Ambassador to Beijing mysteriously died on the street.... Fun times ahead for all! http://www.zerohedge.com/news/postcards-furious-china |

Umm, how does this end well??? Gotta love social welfare, only a complete collapse and some seriously heinous stuff will pull us out of this one on a global scale. Im thinking maybe we wouldve been better off if the original Geedub (George Washington) wouldve just accepted a crown. |

sleepers cells. its my belief that theyre here boys and girls. theyre just waiting to strike. rember what only 19 highjackers did to us on 9/11. Me and the family avoid big crowds and high profile events +1. No invasion or large scale attack is needed. Look what 2 guys did with an AR. DC Sniper. Virtually shut down the DC area. Imagine 100 of those nationwide at the same time. Bad, very bad. |

This question was posed to me and i do not have an answer. And if so, is the us slated to be a battleground Seeing as the Arabs have no airlift capacity and no ampbibious capacity, I am going to go out on a limb and say that the odds of them invading the US any time soom are exactly ZERO percent. Of course, terrorist attacks are relatively easy to pull off and I can easily see those happening here. But invasion? No. World War 3? No. Any war with Arabs will be mostly regional - in their backyard, not ours - with the possibility for some isolated retaliatory attacks here, but nothing sustainable. They are incompetents. Yes, they have some capability, but we will NOT be seeing a Red Dawn scenario any time soon with Arabs/Muslims as OPFOR. They simply do not have that capability, and are not remotely near developing it. I don't care what their intent is, intent without capability = futilitity. They do not have that capability and will not have it anytime soon. Probably never. |

It is not a question of if, but rather a question of when, and by what means. The leader of Israel is one fine Statesman! If only we had him on the ballot in November! |

war pretty close for Israel and Iran, china and Japan...
looming economic collapse for all of Europe and the US.... I don't know what's coming....but war is looking like a distinct possibility... and every country is so interconnected now that and REAL war between two or more large players may well drag the whole world in to it. on the economic front for the US...they keep claiming the economy and jobs market are improoving.... Costco is opening a new store in baxter,MN next month...so many people applied in the first day or two that their app system was up online that they were over whelmed and just threw them all out. starting over a week later collecting apps again when most everyone thought they had their app in... a company the size of costco, was so overwhelmed by the number of applicants in the rural vacation town of BAXTER MN with a pop of around 8k, that they hit the reset button. things are not gettng better, they are getting worse. |

Too large a area to have a war. To have a world war like that you need identifiable enemies (nation states). I think you will see small scale skirmishes, inter country rivalries and force projection on lesser states by the larger ones as commodities start to dry up. All out war; no. Basically like you have see for the last 70 years, except this time is wont be for the spread of democracy or the stopping of communism, it will be to secure commodities. IE the chinese/jap dick wrangling we have now and have seen before. |
