I am looking for recommendations for long term storage of Chlorinating Tabs.

I have trichloro-triazinetrione 1" tabs to be used in SHTF water disinfection.  The container they came in is starting to deteriorating .  I have had the tabs for several years.

Any help would be appreciated.

Per a recent thread here, definitely store those in an outdoor shed/storage closet.  Chlorine as commonly used in pool maintenance puts off corrosive fumes/vapor/whatever that will corrode nearby metal- including guns, mags, shelving, etc.  As for the container?  The plastic lidded buckets that the tablets come in from the pool store work just fine.

I found this out.  My jig saw was near the container and it is nothing but a pile of rust now.  Apparently the jug it came in has started to break down and crack.  That one little
crack caused enough vapor to rust everything around it.  I put it in a 5 gallon mud bucket with a snap on lid.
