Olive oil or vegetable oil. Whichever I have on hand. I bake it off in the oven. I only do a full coat seasoning when new, or its in rough shape and needs a rehab. I do the same with my carbon steel camping pan. This reminds me, I have a couple old pans I acquired a year or two ago in my shed that need a rehab. Vinegar soak, wire brush, good wash and degrease, then a half a dozen oil coats and bake! |

| Bacon grease is my preference, but olive and canola oils as well as ghee have worked well. |

| Grapeseed oil. All I use for seasoning and each pan gets a wipedown with it after being cleaned. I also use it for seasoning my Blackstone flat top. |
