Riots in Seattle Today, Tuesday May 1st
With the "what if" thread going on about Zimmerman/Martin incident, people don't need a reason to Rrot, just an excuse to cause a riot. This is going to be a long summer. |

Same thing really, the 99% ers were encouraged by the media and even the president.
I do find it quite ironic how the original May Day demonstrators were workers and now its evolved to the entitlement wouldn't work in a pie factory class. Here's a news flash for these socialist warriors. They need to go to a communist country. It'll take about ten minutes realize, they have no welfare class, none. Everyone works or really bad things happen. If they don't have work, the state gives them make work. Even the one child policy in China is misunderstood in this country. In China, you can apply for a permit to have more than 1 child. If you don't, they are faced with what is equivalent of a $2,500 fine. They can't pay the fine, then that means they can't take care of the child so the state takes the child. They are deemed irresponsible. Now there's a unique idea in this country. Keep in mind, the state owns the banks so there's no borrowing money or saving money etc. to fool them. They know everything. There's no soldiers in the streets. They don't need them, they have the banks and that's total control way more than some solider with a bayonet. Control Wall Street means control us, our every purchase our very life. What they don't have is crime like we know it. In most cities, vendors leave their goods on the streets. Crime is dealt with harshly. It isn't a nice dorm making toys. Its not a nice air-conditioned cell with cable TV, internet, library, and good food. Its dark concrete hell next to the give you cancer and die chemical plant nobody in their right mind would work in. Any prison sentence can be a death sentence. You want soldiers with bayonets, you riot like these turds did, riot. Arrested, you are assumed guilty. Doing business there, I sometimes think these pukes ought to get what they ask for. I'm an achiever in life. Started life with nothing but the shirt on my back. I could make it in their utopia. These pukes, they'd make it just long enough to make next years plastic for toys then die of poisoning in prison. Tj |

I missed the first protest/riot but heard about it on my way into seattle to work a swing shift. The second march was scheduled to start at 5pm which I got to watch from the 24th floor, it seemed peaceful, granted it was followed up by riot police, I believe they were marching for immigration reform, found a flier on my apprentices truck telling people not to bank with wells fargo due to the fact they support Arizona's and Georgia's recent immigration laws, I may have to change banks to wells fargo.

I live on the Tex-Mex border and the population is about 90% Latino (legal and illegal), and there is a university several blocks away, however I don't worry about riots here. Why not? Because the Latino's here are classy and well behaved compared to the Marxist radicals running loose in DC, Seattle, etc. And the women are sexy and beautiful! Even my Latino female doctor wears sexy clothes and spike heels at wortk. 
The solution to riots is to charge rioters with felonies (arson, B&E, aggravated assault, etc.) and professional instigators with RICO Law violations. When faced with doing 5-10 years in the Greybar Hotel they just might have a change in their attitude and work ethic. |

Can I get a visa for Texas? It isn't about being Hispanic, it is about being lazy and wanting hand outs. If they were workers and members of the community they would not be here illegally....they would be working and having a home in Mexico. What most people don;t understand there is a class structure in the Spanish countries too.
I went to college with many students from South America. They were wealthy families, worked hard, and were pretty much the same as the other students. I have family in Spain, one cousin is a professor of language, including his family tongue, which is based on the Moorish language. Makes it hard to stereotype with such diversity. |

A lot of the younger ones grew up without ever facing the consequences of their decisions, so there's too much "it'll never happen to me". One would believe that everything is a-okay in the US and everything is getting better for everyone. In fact, if one were to believe the 'news', one (most) would believe that we live in a paradise and nothing of any significance is happening (other than bad weather) across our country.

If they just stopped airing the most pointless stupid dumb shit on tv (like denounce the Kardashians and Paris Hiltons of our country instead of glorify them), we probably wouldn't be in this whole mess in the first place.
Too much "dumb" money in the hands of very dumb people makes for a pretty dumb generation of people. Sadly, its my generation. Everyone wants to know where this "sense of entitlement" comes from, its from the crap on tv. Its been instilled in these people, they truly believe thats the way its supposed to be. Problem is, outside of Hollywood, dumb fun and whats on tv doesn't = a living. Dear FCC, You don't need to spend so much time censoring swears etc, just start censoring stupid. |

I've been ranting for years that we'll never get back on track until some conservative group creates a decent entertainment channel. Face it, news programs, regardless of how good they are, are things viewers/listeners actively take in. This means that they're paying attention to what's going on, and the bullshit filters are engaged and running. Entertainment programs are passive. The mass of the audience doesn't really expect factual presentation. Consequently, the bullshit filters are turned off so as not to ruin the experience. The trouble with this is that the lefties/fascists learned a long, long time ago how to use this process to their advantage. It's called normalizing. This is why there's almost always a sympathetic gay character in the cast, whether there seems any plausible reason to set this out or not. The cast will nearly always follow the pattern that the propagandists want the audience to follow. After time and much, much repetition, when this stuff comes up, the brain filters it through the experience filter and notes that it's a common thing that the brain has encountered countless times before. It must therefore, the brain reasons without your conscious input, be true. We need alternatives to the leftist propaganda feed that involve comedies, dramas, action and etc. Fun stuff that doesn't attempt to program, or at least programs along the lines of traditional American values. I don't really see another way. You really want to be frightened and have your world view changed, take a course or two on sales. I used to sell big ticket items and had to go through several of them. I ended up in therapy because it became so effortless to manipulate people I started feeling like I was alone in a world of cardboard cutouts. Nothing is left to chance, not the placement of people or objects, or their relationship to one another. Having taken some sales courses, watch your average sitcom or drama. With those sales courses under your belt, your filters will be stuck on active and you'll be able to see what you've been missing. |

Unfortunately TeeVee is worse than crack. Everyone is addicted and the chance of a conservative pgm is IMO almost non-existant in any meaningful way. If there is one, it gets preempted by the Left. When we pulled the plug on the TV, it was hard at first to withdraw. We also wasted a lot of time -countless hours wasted. Now we sorta have these hours back, of course there's the net altho arguably I try to make that an educational/learning experience and don't have anything to do w/ the moronic social sites. Go into most any home, shop or business and a TeeVee is blaring propaganda with an AGENDA ––-JUST LIKE YOU SAY. Many/most folks can't even function unless there is some sort of sensory stimulant bombarding them with nonsense/noise. It's no surprise why the Sheeple and likely many on survival forums can't even think critically anymore. Look around, how many are in front of a TV right now with some mind altering substance in their hand? And repeat this sorry existence every day? There is NO chance this will change and is one of many factors the Left has taken advantage of to control us and steal this country. It's, frankly, a done deal.

The TV in my mancave broke a couple of years ago. I removed it and never replaced it. Everything I want to see - news, video / shows, whatever - I can see on the PC when I want to see it, and not when someone wants me to see it. And I can completely control the content, too.
Unfortunately I still pay for cable. Not for me, but to appease the wife, kid, and MIL that lives with us. I'd cancel it in a heartbeat if I could do it without a civil war in the household. So I pay a bunch of $$ every month for a service I don't use, and they watch less than 10 of the 300 or so channels I pay for... As for the content - don't hold your breath for a conservative mainstream entertainment-based network to arise. FOX News only exists because the alternatives are so bad, and even FN is displaying lots of leftist tendencies in recent years. We have made huge inroads on radio (thanks Rush!) and the internet, but the leftist roots in video (TV and big screen) are so deep I don't have any idea how they will be overcome. They control the entire industry. Perhaps Breitbart could have been for video what Rush was to audio, but I doubt it. People want more than news, and when they are being entertained they just stop caring about politics. I DO think that entertaining movies with traditional and conservative themes can be made successfully, the trick is getting them past the censors - leftists completely control that realm. The only solution is to bypass them completely. I don't see that happening without alot of friggen $$, and it probably even goes beyond that. That is a big hill to climb. |
| I expect riots for many reasons. Media fueled racial tension, war in the Middle East, rising gas prices and corresponding food price increase, collapse of the euro and is repercussion here, death of the dollar and even race riots inspired by Zero if he thinks he's losing the reelection. |
