I know pre-64 quarters & dimes are like 90% silver and what is considered the best to collect but don't the 65 to early 70's still have some silver, like 40%? If so are these worth keeping or better just to dump off now at a coin shop. thanks

Thanks, good site. It looks like the only thing that has silver value after 64 is 1/2 dollar and larger.

1964 and before dimes, quarters, kennedy halves.

post-64 Kennedy halves are 40% silver.

Slight correction: '64 and earlier half-dollars = 90%

                         '65 thru and including '70 = 40%
