check with your local fire department or ambulance service. They will be able to tell you who hosts the area classes. Medical first responder is only like $500 and EMT-B is more like $1500-2500 depending on who puts on the class.

I paid $500-$550 for my EMT course with uniform, supplies and books at my local community college.

sorry, this post was a miss fire. I meant to put it under another posting. I got my first responder for free 12 years ago when i joined the fire department. so if you want good free training. join your local fire department.
