I have access to used (but brand new) FDA grade 5 gal buckets at work.  The product that comes in them is a wax that is safe to consume and it's in plastic bags.  I definitely consider the buckets brand new on the inside.  My question is, what is the best way to use these for drinking water storage?  I can buy the screw on lids so I don't have to use the snap top.  I can get nozzles.  Would these be good or should I just suck it up and buy real water jugs?  I've seen the 5 gal, square jugs for $10 a piece plus nozzles.  I'm only looking for about 20 gallons.  This should get me 5 days worth.
