| We had a rain/sleet/snow storm last evening that caused us to lose power around 6:30 PM last night. I was well-prepared for this and things were not too difficult. However, the storm did demonstrate one hole in my preps....temporary heat. I have a genny and was prepared to crank it up this morning when the power came back on around 9:30 am. After a very cold morning, I showed my wife a Mr. Heater Buddy and explained how it worked. I told her that it would be useful to have, especially with the kids (6, 4 and 1 yr). She felt it was prudent to add one with filter and 20 gal hose to our supplies. Hence, the kit en route from Amazon.com. Thank God that I have a wife who embraces prepping. |
