I don't know about Kitco... I googled them, found three NEGATIVES:... what a hassle. ETA: It looks to me like anything with less than 5 stars may be a headache. 3 REVIEWS Add media article * nobody * 5 points * 1 Review * 22 April 2010 I don't think they have the gold I placed two orders with Kitco and paid them with Wells Fargo Cashier Check as directed by them. Fore several days I did not receive an update in my customer account acknowledging receiving my payment. When I called them they still said they did not receive the payment. When I told them I was going to the bank to Stop Payment on the check, they miraculously in that same phone conversation found my payment sitting in the "accounting department". More days passed and still no shipment. I called again and they said they were putting a 10 day hold on a Bank Cashiers Check.....totally off the wall.....Kitco doesn't have the gold baby! Prices are good, but service is terrible. The staff that they have are young and inexperienced. As welll they came up 10 OZ short of my gold delivery which was corrected. I use Border gold now, which has similar prices but wayyy more professional. Border has stupidly expensive prices in silver however Comment Find useful Reply as company Report Reply Please enter a reply Name Please enter a name E-mail Enter an email from the domain kitco.com Phone number Please enter your phone number I accept the terms and conditions Please accept the terms and conditions To reply to this review, please login to your company profile. very good budy of mine is a jewler. he does a fair bit of buisness with kitco and swears by them. he also prefers kitco for some reason it seams but also gives apmex the top notch nod. i have bought my very limited stash of silver from him.
i have another buddy who was pretty pleased doing buisness with northwest territory mint(he found them online randomly) after i turned him on to buying PMs online after he got ripped off locally at a coin shop, being charged about $10 over spot per morgan. K. |

If you can afford the 500 ounce minimum, Tulving is one of the cheapest reliable places to buy. http://www.tulving.com/
Otherwise I'd go with APMEX. HTH |

I went to a coin show here in town this morning.
With silver at about 29.50 oz I expected prices for silver eagle somewhere in the $30+ range. 2009 and 2010 silver eagles were $28.50 each. Silver dimes were $1.95 each. Silver dollars were $20 Bags of silver in various sizes were 19x face value. I picked some Silver eagles. I wish I had more money to get some of them dimes. |

With silver at about 29.50 oz Do you mean $26.50, because that is about what it is trading at today. http://www.kitco.com/charts/livesilver.html |
