I just got an order in from them. I bought 8 boxes of 6 packages each of Hormel Compleats. These are
prepared meals that need no refrigeration and have a 2+ year shelf life. You microwave them or in a pinch you can
heat them with a Mountain House or MRE type chemical heater. I also bought 3 different flavors of Arizona
tea stiks. I had found these at WM, bought a couple and then they quit carrying them.

I keep these and some other foods at work in case of bad weather or ??? I've spent as much as 96 hours straight at
work snowed in. Talk about some nice overtime!

The good thing about Amazon is that they have a subscription service and if you use it shipping is free and
the price is discounted. With the subscription service you can cancel at any time. I actually paid less buying these
items through Amazon than buying at WM.

Amazon has pretty neat stuff and the prices are good, usually better than ebay.

I really like their "Wish List" feature. I use it all the time when I come across books or other items that I might like. Then when my birthday or Christmas comes up i can just point people towards it.

Amazon has EVERYTHING, and if you are a prime member, you get free 2nd day air. I buy a ton from Amazon.

I keep these on hand as they are great for whatever/whenever.  Just like you said, I too keep several of them at work, just in case.

Also, I can attest to the logevity of this product.  They are sealed well with a heavy cover.  I had one the other day (beef stew) that expired in 2/2009 and it did not have any strange/bad/old/wierd taste to it.  Still tasted really good actually, and that was eating it cold even.  I keep an eye on them at the grocery for any kind of fire sale.
