I am looking to find a book on land navigation. Have a BOL in mind but would like to be more prepared if we (wife and I) had to walk there. I have basic map reading skills already, but would be more comfortable if I could tie in using a compass and map to get there. I guess also recommendations on compasses would be great as well, nothing electronic, ie no GPS units..
