Quoted: Finding out when we sleep under our tarp tents/basha it has a lot of condensation or dew. Anyway to prevent this? how close to your body is it? I found that you will still get some condensation on it from your breathing if it is close enough and even some from your own body heat. Ive had frost on my tarps when sleeping in a lean to setup above where our feet were. I set mine kinda high compared to how i used to. ridge line even in winter is set high enough for me to sit under and just barely touch it. also you may need to make sure your set up gets plenty of ventalation ( funny huh with a tarp) but meaning you dont have it shut down from the wind/breeze per say. that helps keeps things dry. down here with the humidty, you'll get dew on it no matter what. least on the outside. |
