it's staged and they are being coached on what to do. the whole show looks scripted to me. i don't believe that any of them knew how to make a charcoal water filtration system. i love how whatever they need at the time just happens to be nearby. i wonder how many times they had to retake the "fight" scenes to get them right. it sucked, i won't be watching it again. especially since Top Shot is on at the same timeslot. |

^^^^^ speaking of shows that suck!.. top shop is at the top of the shows that "could be cool but suck" list... and it's reruns of top shot iirc that are on in the same time slot... K. +1, Top Shot sucks! For "top shelf" shooters they are terrible. The show is all drama. |

They didn't make a charcoal filtration system. They put a bunch of play sand (probably laced with cat urine) and some burnt wood (NOT activated charcoal which is what you need) into a bucket and poured non-potable water through it and then passed it through a discarded wedding dress. They started with non-potable water and they ended up with non-potable water. It was the boiling afterwards that made it safe(r) to drink, PERIOD. Their "filter" was a waste of effort and calories. |
