If I remember correctly they made some silver proof sets, in other words don't waste your time looking for anything other than pre 64 coins. Also keep an eye out for silver war nickles 42-45 2 of them actually have more silver content than a silver dime. Have fun!

couldn't find all the info on coinflation
I'm not that smart, guess that's why I don't use them

not an avid collector of post 64 coinage. IIRC:

Ikes are 40%, from 71 -74, and bicentennial

Kennedys from 65-70, 76, 92-08
70s are usually worth more than the 65-69s - they were stuck for mint sets only
the >92 are proofs having the same standard as pre-65

quarters from 76, 92-98, Statehood
>92, same as above

most are packaged for proof, some mint sets.
you'd be pretty lucky to find these in your change (I did find 4 70D Kennedys)

IIRC

IIRC
On the ikes isn't it only certain ones?

I think it has to have the "S" mint mark.

you're right, good catch
(eta) with exception to the earlier Kennedys, it seems like all of "silver" was minted in San Fransisco, but not all Ss are silver
(all of this recalling is hurting my head)
