Well today was work on the trick and clean out the truck day, I put together a really good first aide kit in an orange plastic waterproof box I bought at wally world. Well I havent used it 2 years....I opened it and it had sweated and everything was covered in mold.......Trashed it, so how do I avoid this again ? a breatheable bag ? What does the hive mind think ?

And check it every now and then. Maybe every time you do an oil change or some othar maintenence.

Method/ location of storage and more frequent PMCS of your kit.
If you left a rifle propped up on the porch under a downspout and waited two years to check it, would you expect it to be serviceable? A vehicle interior is a harsh environment with a wide range of temp extremes and intrusion by the elements, depending on how airtight/ weathertight your car is.

If you cut a small notch just above the seal you have an el-cheapo tear open package.
