A close friend of mine just picked up a over under 22/410   kina cool  and old as hell. Dont rember who made it though.  This got me thinkin any body still make a combo gun in like 223/12ga  or 308/12ga  maybe 30-06/12ga , 300winmag/12 ga . I would even be into 20 gauge.   Any sugestions?

Combo guns are out there.

Consensus in SF is that they are a nice idea that just doesn't quite work out nicely.  With that consensus I would spend the money on a better/upgraded AR.

I have a Springfield Armory M6 Scout in .22LR over .410. It was cool at first, but I have found it to be much less useful than my 10/22, 22/45, or 870 in actual use. I'm planning on selling it because it just isn't something I'll ever use.

IMO, a Savage 24 in .22 Mag, .223, or 30-30 over 12 or 20 gauge would be more useful, but still not better than a dedicated rifle or shotgun–– especially any sort of repeater.

The Savage 24 as someone else mentioned and Remington was bringing in some made in Russia ones a year or two ago.

I have a Savage .22WMR over 20 gauge. I've shot some squirrels with it. I don't think I'd want one with a centerfire rifle cartridge on top, it's more of a small game concept to me. If they're sitting still I can head shoot them, of they run I fire off some shot.
