did you really just tell me to add starbucks to my preps? ![]() Yes sir, it's light to carry and nothing lifts the spirits like coffee. I know, but just reading the sentence was was a bit counterintuitive, starbucks for your preps. Just struck me as odd.

did anyone ever figure out the deal with the story that was going around about starbucks refusing to send coffee to our deployed troops becasue they disagreed with the war, and then taking it one step further and refusing to serve/sell their products in their stores to military servicemen/women in uniform?.. IIRC there was a suggested boycott plea following that story...
i went into the closest starbucks in my area for the first time and inquired if this was a compnay policy, the lady behind the counter told me that if anything she would give a militray serviceman/woman a free drink and thank them for their service to our country( that squashed it for me but i don't drink coffee more than 2-3 times a year on average, and have never bought anything from any designer coffe shop... but, in a conversation a week or so ago someone mentioned starbucks and a friend reminded me of the story... i'm just looking for confirmation one way or the other... thanks!.. Its actually really good, and takes up the same space (or less) as the freeze dried crap that comes in MRE's.
