I remember the movie you're referring to.....The Day After.......where near the end everyone meets at the church and peoples faces are burnt and peeling off. When I was a Kid, that movie scared the hell out of me.......I kept thinking the Soviets were going to nuke us tomorrow. |

Heck yea, my Mom made we watch in when I was in School, I was terrified and scared to death, cool but morbid scene when the missiles launch out of that families back yard. Walmart had it in the dump bin for $5 some time ago and I bought it. Funny watching it and seeing everybody standing in line to use the pay phone and then getting checked out manually at the grocery. no UPC scanners then. Interesting how far technology has come since then and we still have some of the same missiles (probably) |
