Thinking about making some of these food rotating / storage helpers... but, a question for any of you who have built from their basic plans...

Can you cut the pieces out with a scrollsaw?  I have acess to a pretty decent sized scrollsaw, but no bandsaw or jigsaw at the moment.  Wanted to ask, especially in light of the recent posts concerning the racks made from their plans.  Thanks.  MournSword

You should be fine with a scroll saw, a drill, and a table or circular saw.

Many of your cuts are straight, or at an angle so a circular or table saw will probably work best for most of the work.
There are three holes to drill (two for the dowels and one for the "cutout" in the front).
Once you drill the hole for the cutout in the front (the right side of the picture), you cut from the face to the circle with a scroll or sabre saw.
The particle board is probably easiest to cut with a table or circular saw.

Was this your own design or did you get the plans from somewhere?

Unfortunately, I can't take credit for the design.
I got plans from CanRacks.com.
