Say a guy is soon to be vacationing down south in Mexico and across the street from his location is a pharmacia. What would be a few things high on your list to bring back as a souvenirs?

Back a few years ago you could legally bring back 3 prescriptions back, with a 90 day supply. The DEA guy signed the back of the script with some sort of number with it. I declared it when I came back.

Did this change?
I didnt hear anything about it if it did.

If I could bring back a 90 day supply of 3 different meds,  I think it would be all pain meds, and of the strongest available.  I wouldnt bother getting something "mid-strength". You would be better off taking half of a strong pill, than 2 of a mid-strength.  just my way of thinking.  Myself, I would like some lydacain in my med kit, but wouldt try to get it from mexico. Just not something you get a 90 day supply of you know.
You got to figure antibiotics are easily available here.  Mood drugs like valum or xanex may be of some use, but in a SHTF situation, you got to figure controlled pain meds are gonna be the most useful.

I would check into the laws BIG TIME before attempting anything like this. If you dont fallow the rules, you are eligable for a full paid vacation to the grey bar motel. Also, do not tell anyone about what you have! Or you wont have it long.

really, I would get whatever "you" need for critical need meds.

things like heart meds (if you have a bad heart)

Diabetic insulin, if you need it. (major pain to keep stored though.)

things that keep you alive.

yeah, pain meds would be nice, but only if you can get follow up medical attention to "fix" what ever made you need them otherwise it just prolongs the inevitable.

antibiotics are good but you have to know what your dealing with to use the correct one and dose, otherwise your just pissing up a rope and wasting your meds.

Antibiotics.  Amoxicillin, Z-packs, etc.

Steroid packs.
