Is there a problem with storing different foods in the same mylar bags?  I'm thinking beans, rice, dehydrated veggies, spices in smaller mylar bags?  Also, what is the longest lasting powered milk available?

I am not sure what others are doing but the cooking times are much different for beans and rice so I do not mix them together. Put them in different bags in the same bucket.
Far as I know Morning MOO has the best shelf life for powdered milk and it tastes pretty darn good.

this.  you can put them in the same bucket as long as they're not in the same sealed bag.  maybe lentils and rice together, since they have similar cooking times, but separately is better.

and yeah...  chocolate morning moo.

I hadn't thought about cook times.
