That kicks ass! Thank you for posting it.

My personal grip of choice for my ARs is the Hogue-I wonder if mine are considered "Rev 2", and therefore compatible.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a "strike plate" that is listed as one of the tools on this gadget?

The bottom of the Grip has some bevels on it , that is the strike plate. the bottom picture in the link you can see it. You can use it to smack someone in the head , I guess.

At SHOT they said they were going to add additional kits for different grips. They were off to talk with the Magpul folks, wonder how it went?

For $120 you can buy a spare bolt, firing pin and retaining pin, cam pin and keep them in a MIAD grip. With the money left over you can get a broken shell extractor and otis pocket AR cleaning kit.
