Has anyone seen or read this book?  I did a search, and found nothing.  It sounds like a good read.  The author (Matthew Stein) is an MIT graduate, but I herd him on a radio show and didn't like some of the things he said.  Sounded a bit off the wall on some topics.  I'm just curious about the book.

Thanks
Jeremy

My sweety got me a copy for Christmas.

Haven't had an opportunity to read it cover to cover yet, just skimmed through it.

Most of it looks promising. He does go off into the PC, global warming, earth stewardship, love fest dimension in the last section.

Technology never really fails. It may fall back to a more sustainable level for the conditions, but it never fails.

Agree with the PC slant, but it is very comprehensive and useful.  It helped me a lot with planning a solar powered well.  It's worth owning.  Take his politics with a grain of salt.  There isn't that much coloration in it.

Thanks guys.  This is what I wanted to hear.

I didn't have trouble finding the book, I just wanted to know if anyone has read it yet.

He was on C2C (coast to coast)  the other night, I agreed with something he said, but some of it was off the wall with the PC.
