| I have two compasses in my BOB but on a daily basis I would like to have a watch with a built in accurate compass. Suburban has one but can't attach it to my wrist and it won't fit through doors.....Any reliable fairly decent ones? |

I have a HighGear Altitech II. So for, I'm very happy with it. Botach is having a sale on a Casio I know nothing about this one. |
I've been looking at that one, but don't know much about it. How do you like it? |
| Thanks for all the replies - I knew about the sun/watch hand method but had forgotten it -- Since I don't always have the hunting fanny/bob on it would be nice to be able to say, " the deer ran south west......or the house is north of where we are, lets get there....I will check out the Timex and Sunto.... |
I have a Vector too. 3rd battery in it now, and I love it. but I've learned not to trust the compass. It needs to be resynchronized or whatever way to often, and sometimes it says it's done, but checking it against another compass shows that it was not. I would certainly not want to trust my life to it. maybe mines defective. . . ?? have the rest of you suunto guys traveled much and USED the compass ? |
