Do you really expect a response from folks here to tell you how they shot at or otherwise threatened other people in a non-official capacity during a time of crisis?  Is anyone really that stupid to say that on an internet open forum?

8 years.mil (2 of that active Law enforcment, Water Cop FTW!) 14 years CCW, never had to draw.

How do you know if drawing a weapon actually saved a life?

But yes, it might have, several problems were resolved without anyone getting hurt.
