I'll bet it was the USA. They knew that the ASA was about to launch their nuclear strike on Iran and north Korea without evidence and probably figured they had to attempt to stop it or lessen the degree of damage done by the ASA. |
Why do we assume the USA is still in existence. Maybe it's the CSA now.

This is why it makes sense that the EMP was part of the overall plan by J&R. EMP effects would isolate people, prevent information exchange and limit the ability to organize and respond to the disaster. Then ASA/J&R can take control one area at a time, the most critical first, without worrying too much about places like Jericho until later. It would have been a simple part of the plan to detonate a few warheads over the US to gain the effects, and at the same time create the impression among the survivors of further enemy nuclear attacks. Once ASA/J&R do gain control, all new eletronics will come from then. Imagine if your new cell phone, computer, TV all came from someone with goals like J&R. All Internet running through J&R, too. EMP attacks have been a part of every nuclear force's battle plan since their effect on electronic systems became known, for all these reasons, and more. |

I finally got a chance to watch the last two episodes. Man oh man oh man now that is good TV. If I were a multimillionaire I'd pay to keep the show going and just make it back off of iTunes and DVD and BD sales. A lot of good messages in the last couple episodes, and I'm glad Beck and his men finally came to see the light and change sides back to the good old USA. And of course, the TX ANG F-16s swatting those Eagle-driving traitors out of the sky was just beautiful. Hope a cable channel picks Jericho up; the story arc from episode 1 to 29 may have been brought to a good conclusion, but there's a LOT more than can be done with the plot. Good stuff, goof stuff. Of course, I'm also terribly sad now... no more getting my Jericho fix...

I wonder...They made a finale straight to DVD movie from Stargate SG1. "The Arc of Truth" I think it was called. Wrapped it all up. I would rather they continue Jericho, but if not, then maybe someone would do a movie like that. Wrap up the plot and finish the story. The way they left it, they could make an awesome movie. Just my $.02 worth. |
| Has anybody else noticed that the Ravenwood website (under the jennningsandrall.com site) is still being updated? The "mission" data is continuing to be updated. I wonder if this was just a script-driven automation, or if somebody is still on the payroll to maintain that site, even though the show is canceled. |

| My fiance and I just finished watching the series last week. Decided on a whim to watch it after hearing so much about it.. We watched the entire first and second season in slightly over a week. Great series. Major shame it ended where it did. |

preorders should have been done about 6 weeks ago.
I guess the story picks right up starting the next civil war. | I have searched for links to a movie and nothing came up. Also I saw that SyFy was showing it which could pick it up but it has been to long since it has been on and everyone is starting to or already forgot about it. so it will be only on paper and if sales are high enough they might make a movie. MIGHT! |
