saw this years ago in Mother Earth News, and recently came back across it. You might get some nice/simple ideas for a cabin for your BOL. IIRC back then they said the entire thing could be built very cheaply and I guess it's all relative, but still shouldn't cost an arm and leg now days. Sleeps 3, gravity fed shower/water, compost toilet etc. Link

that would probably be a good question to ask the folks that designed/made it. I'm kinda thinking if you build one yourself, that you'll put a slant roof on it by using up a couple more sheets of plywood and some more 2x's.... |
