Hello all, besides 00 Buck, what would be the next best size in shot, if I were buying it by the standard 25Rd. box. Keep in mind that this ammo is going into ammo cans and is being stored away for when the SHTF.

BB or #4 is good to have on hand - buck shot sucks if you want to shoot a duck or goose. I have seen BB and #4 work well on Coyotes even from 50 yards away.

It depends what you are using your shotgun for. If for hunting, some 7 1/2 or 8 would be appropriate. Also slugs for hunting or defense. Number 4 buckshot isnt bad to have on hand either.

I would want to have a good variety of shotgun shells on hand. For hunting, self defense, etc.
