Anyone have any experience with it?  It's the cheapest I've found, and am thinking of buying.  I know this might not be considered sf, but yall are my go to guy's, and stacking ammo deep counts, right?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Shoots fine in my AK'S and SKS rifles.

7.62 X 39 ? ?

If so, it's pretty good stuff.

Better get it while you still can . . . . .

It's one of my favorites to shoot (that and the Barnual with the hunter on the box).  Works very well in my AK...not too dirty, and no failures in 1000s of rounds.

Check out the AK-47 area on this site, and click on the Ammo forum.  Lots of good information in there about the different types of ammo.

I don't know about the Russian Tiger ammo but stay away from Wolf. I just pulled the bullets from 200 Wolf cases and reassembled them, increasing the charge weight because it wouldn't reliably function in my Yugo SKS. My test rounds now work fine.

Proper gun control requires a steady hand and a sharp eye!

Just an FYI, my brother has a Yugo SKS that short stroked all the time. The gas system leaked horribly because the rifle used corrosive ammo during it's service in Yugoslavia. If you replace a few gas system parts it should work fine with normal ammo. (My brother went back to the Dunhams he bought it from and the manager let him take the parts off a Yugo with less corroded parts. The manager just sent that SKS back to Century then).

The ammo you made and are using in it now is probably grossly overpowered and dangerous to shoot in any other gun.

Oh, and to the OP. The Golden Tiger ammo is good stuff. I've only fired about 40 rounds of it, but have another 3K in my stash. I probably should test a little more of it but the few boxes of it that I did shoot ran flawlessly.

One or two people have complained about pierced primers, but that is caused by an out of spec firing pin most likely, not out of spec ammo.
