I'm wondering what kind of suspenders are those?  I need a decent pair of suspenders for my belt gear.

I used to use a lot of ALICE gear, but I realized that carrying an ALICE LBE setup didn't work very well when carrying a large pack as well.

Either I want my ALICE LBE gear around my hips to help with the load, or I want my Pack's waist strap around my hips to distribute the load.  BOTH simply weren't very effective together.

That's why I've switched to a Molle Chest system, a good quality Blackhawk Riggers/Pistol belt, and a drop-leg Molle panel.  This way there's NOTHING on my belt except the drop-leg stuff, and now I can comfortably carry my pack.  I just have gear on my chest, sides, and thighs...  I'm thinking of having my fiance sew me a custom buttpack to ride low under my waist/hip line too.

Love that you are training.

OK now the criticism, learn the combat stance. It looks from the video that you are using the target stance and I can actually see it effecting you in the vedio. The best way it was ever taught to me was to hold the rifle buy only the grip in the ISO stance, as you would a handgun. Then with your firing hand pull the rifle to the shoulder while allowing the other had to take the support position, your body should be near square to the target, feet spread to shoulder width, knees bent , head erect , rifle not actually in the pocket of the shoulder but right above. Anyhow not trying to be rude just saw the video and had to point it out.

Some pics to help explain what I'm talking about
TARGET

COMBAT

Anyhow if you already know this then maybe somebody else can get some use out of it, that stance has improved my ability greatly.

Is that spray paint or duracoat on the AR?

Your combat stance demonstrates a human's natural tendancy to square off to an adversary. Even those who train to blade themselves to their adversaries have a tendancy to square off when confrontation comes.

Its HS Bowflage, removable spray type paint buy has a MUCH better finish then spray paint.

You are correct, the natural stance is the combat stance, the body knows what it is doing its the mind that messes it up. Past teachings from some of the less then desirable teachers has caused most of us to use the target stance, but the target stance should be left at the range along with the shooting vice and strange arm sling loop thing. Most all modern schools of combat teach only the combat stance and I believe that Fred's Appleseed stuff is the only one that teaches the target stance . Anyhow the modern battlefield is not the static trenches of WW1 , todays combat is shoot , maneuver , and communicate. The Target stance is basically the weaver stance with a rifle, it dose not allow one to maneuver with any sort of speed, it dose not aid shooting while moving, its very one side dominant, it places the body at a angle that forces recoil up and to the direction of the firing hand. The Combat stance allows one to Maneuver as you would if not holding the weapon, provides a better platform for shooting on the move, allows the same basic stance to be used no matter what side you are shooting from, forces the recoil of the gun strait back with much less muzzle rise.

And yes you are again correct, under most high stress situations the best of the best will resort to the bodies natural position no matter how the operator is trained. It is basic human reaction, why fight it when you can flow with it?

OK now sorry guys back to the topic of pictures
