Paid off my smallest credit card, to the tune of $2900 in the last 2 months with my tax refund and paycheck. Made the last payment yesterday. Only 2 more cards to go, totalling 10k.

Picked up some more body armor today. A custom/limited-run plate carrier, complete with a spall liner. This is to replace the airsoft-market carrier I had been "using". |

Cleaning some mason jars in the dishwasher as I type this. Later today, I'll store some barley, peas and groats in the jars using O2 absorbers. If I'm adventurous enough, I'll try Tj's method of using a candle stub to burn up the O2. Also paid off a $2k credit card, leaving me with one more card to pay off. I'm heading out the door right now on a run to Costco to see what I can pick up for LTS and also to see how much the prices have risen. Also IBTL

I don't know if 100 pages is the limit with the recent code upgrades ... but here's adding to it. Not done today but last week I paid off the truck and zeroed the one remaining credit card. Might go out and buy a fence today. |

Looked up what IBTL stood for. Asked Mrs. Gun_Crank to bake some bread from scratch. She is already very good at it, but I would hate it if her skills went slack. Organized Pantry. It's looking really good, but I still feel like it's not enough. If anyone in my extended family saw it however they would think I'm nuts. |

Just cleared some land to start a garden. Took the tractor out and cleared a 25 x 25 square out of the brush and woods. Then it started to rain hard. Back at it in the morning. I am thinking about 3 or 4 elevated beds around 16-20 feet long and 2-3 feet wide. I am using old trees to "frame" the beds so the usable, straight part of the trees will determine the length. |

Put some dried grains and legumes into mason jars. Found that 3lbs fits into 2, one quart jars.  I took this picture before opening the O2 absorbers and promptly forgot to take anymore pictures. Also put away 50 lbs of sugar and 25lbs of jasmine rice in mylar bags and buckets. |
 I just replanted another 16 tomato plants from my frost loss  Hell I lost abunch of lettuce which is cold hearty. Next year I will not plant until Derby day except seeds. A $30 mistake which would be my ass if it was SHTF. Live and learn.Bob |

Bought another 20 0z. of .999 silver, in form of American Silver Eagles to use as trade items rather than my ammo or weapons. I belive we are headed for a currency crisis before the year 2011 comes to an end. PM's should be a part of every survival plan!!! i bought about 40 random hotpeppers and tomatoe plants for the communal garden at the BOL on family owned property. in addition to the plants i'm contributing to the garden, a coworker who's family back in idaho grows for green giant, passed along some "pioneer" and "green giant" brand corn kernals/seed to plant(i hope it does well here in the east). and i'm rotating out my s.h.t.f. fan seed stores, and passing them along to the family to plant this summer, i'll rebuy my supply of seeds when they hit price reduction time at wallyworld... friday i picked up another doublestar lower... i'll now have an AR for the GF and each immediate family member... |

Well my Jeep is running, MrsWindsjeep will get towed to Sears where they are making good on what they did, most likely they mixed brakefluids, either with power steering or different Dot. Got some more tomatoes and chives for the garden, that is tomorrows project. I have a Molle seat cover for my Jeep, picked up a Gerber fixed blade, some mag pouches for it. FOrgot in the past week and a half we made 395 KWHs of electricity |

Went shooting, found out that my sporterized 91/30 has extraction problems with certain ammo. Found out my new-to-me Ruger MkII will outshoot me no matter what, and that I am getting decent with my Russian Trainer .22lr rifle. I still dont shoot much beyond 30yds, but anything bigger than a quarter is mine. (once I get in a groove. and the planets align. and I use The Force.) Also, found out that I have about 6500rds of .22lr, about 3000 more than I thought. |

Picked up the 2 H&K P7's that I had shipped to my FFL, and checked on the next CCW class date. Need to get that done, and start to everyday carry. Was going to make a run to Costco, but it got too late. Will go tomorrow for stocking items. Hope they don't lock after this page, we'll see. |

ordered two small solar panels a regulator and inverter ( i have a few large battery's ) . i will see if i can run all the up stairs lighting with it and may have a go at one of these for back up link john. |
