I am on our RMEF banquet comittee. We get some interesting things for our auction and tonights meeting produced some gems. A friend of one of our members said he had some fly fishing gear he would like to donate. Here is the list of equipment he donated:
Sage 890 RPL+ new Scott SES 9' 5wt like new Sage 386-3 SP new Ross Canyon BG-4 with a line new Loop Midge new Simms hippers lg new Simms guide boots sz 12 w/wader socks new ?? Fly vest loaded with stuff all new The owner bought all of this stuff, and more, from the shop I was managing 8 years ago. He never used any of it except for the 5wt he took a private lesson with. Everything is going into the silent auction except the 386-3 and the loop. I am going to pair them and put them in the live auction. I realy hate to do that because I won't be able to afford what it should sell for. If you are not familiar with the Loop reel it is amaizing. Holding it in your hand you wouldn't believe how light it is. I actually think the 3 wt line weighs more than the reel! That is going to be a very sweet auction item! |
