Good stuff. I saw some Permit at Los Roques but they were moving though pretty fast. The Bones and Barries were awsome.

An Atlantic Salmon is on my list of fish yet to catch.

I kayak quite a bit and have been wanting to give flyfishing a shot in some of the saltwater marshes and bayous around the area, but the thought of starting from scratch has been kind of overwhelming. This is motivational stuff!

nice fish!!!

I just hit up our local stocked trout river, Guadalupe, and fished it for trout for the first time today. I saw plenty of 25"+ rainbows but couldn't get them to bite.
I did however catch this little bastard, I was happy as its my first "Texas trout"

He took a size 20 adams parachute on 6x tippet.

The first one flipped out of my hands before I could take the picture. Fishing was pretty slow. I caught this one on a dry midge pattern and I caught the first one on a zebra midge nymph. Felt good to get back on the water and catch my first two fish of the year .

Fishing was slow up until about 15 mins before dark. Then the sulphurs started coming off and they went nuts! I landed 10 more browns up until I couldn't see my fly on the water anymore. I love nights like this where you just catch one after another
