Wife and i went pike fishing 20 miles away by snowmachine.
We were lucky finding a ice hole that was still open and were there from 1000 till 1800. She caught most of them 30 pike in all. I caught a lowly 4 but was out for hunting mostly. Only took her 1.5hrs to cut them up for drying with our 2 grils help a little. The ice on the river is roughly 52 to 60 some inches thick. The will be ready in a week to 2 weeks then time for dreid pike and seal oil.
