I set one up years ago. Scared the hell out of me. I would avoid at all costs. A compound bow is designed to be drawn and shot within a few seconds. I think that there could be some potential problems with leaving your limbs loaded up for hours on end.
If your shoulder is on the fritz I would invest in a crossbow OR a low poundage compound. Personally, if I had a jacked up shoulder, I would be shooting a 40# compound before I would go to any other option, unless even 40#'s was too much. |
