| Lookin to pick up a rangefinder by this weekend. Does anybody have any suggestions or good experiences with a certain model |

I like the Nikon ones.
There are certainly fancier, more expensive models out there, but they can read through the screens in a blind without a hassle. I know that's a problem for quite a few rangefinders. Good price, really good quality. My only complaints are that they are about a decade behind on styling, which really isn't important overall, and they are a little bulky in size for the yardage range compared to some other models. |

Which one do you use? I'm looking too, was looking at the Vendetta by Leopold but the price seems abit high. I was wondering at what price point would be a buy or is abit much for what it is. Thanks in advance. |
| Ive got the Bushnell Bow Hunter Chuck Adams edition and im starting to dislike it. The last couple times out it has been shuting off while im try to get a reading or it will display 888 yards, i havnt replaced the battery but it shows full bars on the battery life indicator. I should have bought the Nikon. |

Is there more than one Nikon rangefinder? Which one? Sorry 'bout the delay, I was out hunting I have the Nikon 440. I know it is no longer being made, but you can still find them online. I think I paid around $150.00 for it a couple/few years ago. Not exactly sure. I can say that if something happened to mine, I'd be happy paying that for a new one tomorrow. |

After lots of reading, I decided on a Nikon Riflehunter 550. Ranges out to ~500 yards, which will also work for me rifle hunting, and has ID which compensates for angled up or down shots.
I thought about the cheaper 'archers choice' model, but it only ranges out to 100 yards. I wanted something I could use for all hunting, and for just an extra $40 bucks, why not get the Riflehunter? Newegg.com has them for $232+$5 shipping. Go to swfa.com (industry partner) and use their price matching to get a final price of about $220 shipped. |

I decided on the same one also but I paid $310 out the door at bass pro. It seems nice. |
