I too am looking for my first bow and I understand the reply, which do you shoot better. My question is at what range do you need to test fire a bow?
Also I will say this I want to buy one bow and not have the feeling i did not buy enough bow. How much speed do I need? I will occasionally deer hunt, will definitely spring turkey hunt, but mostly it will be a target bow to shoot along side my son. I am pretty set on a Browning youth Micro adrenaline for my 8 year old son. |

Don't get too caught up in speed. Buy what shoots good in your hands. Most high speed bows are a little quirky for new shooters. As expected, you need to get your form and technique down to really shoot them to their potential. Some bows are more forgiving than others, but you give up a little performance to get that. It's all a give and take. I think it's great that you are getting your son involved in shooting sports. |

Well I'm on vacation in Branson Mo and we hit an archery shop today and walked out with a Misson Menace for my son and I snatched up a Reezen 6.5.
I tested a ZX7 had trouble drawing it and just was not comfortable with it, test shot a Reezen and was comfortable and accurate, also the bow was on sale which probably helped the bow to feel better LOL. My boy was shooting consistently at 10 yards and at 20 yards he was hitting the back wall..... I kid he could keep it on the bale just remember he is 8. The Reezen quickly bulls eyed at 10 and 20 yards with the top pin and I had to shut it down after that and get the family to Silver Dollar city, Hopefully I can find time to stop back in and work on 30 and 40 yard distances. |

Just bought my Stinger a few min. ago. I will be heading back to the shop to have it set up tomorrow and hopefully some shot after. This is pretty much my first bow, an uncle had given me a Browning compound that was pretty old shot it a few time but never had it set up for me. Looking forward to running this thing. |
