My bow is strictly a hunting setup and I am currently using Easton N-fused ST Axis arrows with 2 1/2" vanes.  I have about 5 arrows that need to be refletched with either some missing or seperating at the glue.  I have been looking at the shrinking fletch systems that are out there and have been wondering about their durability/accuracy.  I will be switching to blazer vanes in the future.  How well do they hold up compared to a regular glue on fletch.  Are the fletches actually glued onto the shrinking material or are they fused as one?  I do not fletch arrows myself and thought this could be a easy quick way to have fletched arrows without having to wait for the shop to get around to it.  Thanks in advance.

They are fairly pricey.  A freind of mine used them for a while, but he had problems with the way the fletching was bonded to the wrap.

Have you ever considered purchasing a fletching jig?

+1.  Drop the money on a bitzenburger and you'll never look back.

I have used them with good results on damaged arrows.

I use them on all my arrows. I've wrapped two dozen of them and have had problems with two of them. The vanes came loose at the front. As stated above, they have gotten really expensive. When they come out they were about $12 for 6.

they are nice, they are super easy and very durable. I have some that have passed through targets and are still in good shape. Now they are little bit heavy, about 15 grams each so you will have to do some readjusting on your sights but they are nice.

I have them on all of my arrows.  When I try glueing the fletchings on myself, the arrows look like a 5 yr old did it.  The shrink wraps are easy and quick.  I have had many pass through deer without damage as well.

It's not a bitzenburger, but I have pretty good luck with a JoJan:

I use right-helical with 4" feathers.  Does a great job and is quick.
