I'll just get to the point..
I'm interested in a bow that can be easily taken down. I looked through one of my Sportsman's Guides and seen the Martin Jaguar Takedown (also mentioned in the topic called "Some recurve questons" by another member). It can be taken down and there is also a fishing reel offered for bow fishing. I would like something that is easy to take-down, light, well built, offers a bow fishing assembly, and easy to carry in a pack or other case. For a case, I'd like something that is soft and closeable. Same for the quiver, I would rather something that can be attached to a belt to hang or thrown over your shoulder with the bow, and if possible with a flap or something to close to arrows won't be lost. Also, a friend is looking for a crossbow that the arms can be folded for transport, light, ergonomic, and also well built (not easily broken or damaged). Any other tips would be appreciated. |

I like the idea of having a back up bow that doesn't require "tuning". Yea, me too. I want a bow that I can take camping with me and be able to hunt will not having to use a gun and disturb the wildlife around me. At the same time being able to put it in a shoulder case that I can just throw it on and not have my hands full like my compound bow. Not to mention the one I pick for my final choice will also be put in a go bag for the same purposes of the little to no sound, plus it's reusable ammo supply And if the SHTF, I could go Rambo on 'em . Not really though, but I like that fact that the broad heads can go through armor. (There's a video of it, but can't think of website to post link.)
