Looks good to me. My neighbor has a stout black lab that is a great looking and well trained dog. Id definately consider one in the future for myself.

Wonderful dogs, very intelligent and praise driven, but stubborn and not for a first timer.  They need A LOT of attention and exercise,
but when they hit the 3 year marker they chill out and are nothing but fun.  I don't recommend this breed unless you hunt frequently and
are able to keep them with you each day.  Leaving them home alone will ruin this breed.  Lots of work, Tons of reward!

This is Bailey.  She died last year and was nearly 16 y.o.  She was 6 y.o. in the first pic and 12 y.o. in the second.  I've had other dogs through the years but she was by far the best.   Brittanys are great.

This is Koda.  She's about 13 weeks old now and will fetch about anything.  Caught her first bird (live) when she was 8 weeks, man was she proud.  We're just getting going with the training now.

Here she is fetching a mouse.

And this is her "I'm being good see?" look.

Her buddy Ruger.

And this is one of my faves of her.  About 8 weeks old.

Had my GWP out doing retrieves at the flooded dog park yesterday. Water was about 2-3 feet deep so he could just barely touch in some spots. Fun to see him like a dolphin in and out of the water

SevenMaryThree I had to put Sonny down February 25.  He was the best dogger/friend/hunting dog ever.  I would post a picture of him but I do not have a place to host the picture.  He was elected twice as National Hunting Dog of the year by the PHGA and could have won a third year in the row except I ran another dog who won.  I sure miss my old dogger.

Man it's been really long since I've posted.

No, Lago is not from Westwing...picked him up from a breeder here in AZ... I'm fortunate to have him.

Full AKC and he constantly amazes people with how well he is trained/behaves, he's not aloof, and although his heartrate goes through the roof when a ball/stick/firearm are pulled out, he responds to commands.  Never a snarl or tooth-bearing towards man nor beast, but has a nice deep bark that he uses sparingly.

Worst thing I ever did was to neuter him - his genes should definitely be passed on.

kind of a hunting dog, some US Marine Corps IDDs (IED Detection Dog).  these are regular bird dogs who run blinds, point to points, cast and orbits but are sniffing for explosive odors instead of birds.

My dog Streaker here in Afghanistan.  He's a yellow lab that's just over 2 years old.  loves orbits and free searches but isn't too fond on the point to points.

last day of the dog handler school, let them have some fun and do water marks.  never saw him so excited or rambunctious.

not mine but another cool pic i took

waiting to run a few drills
