I Have one the bezel / head came loose on. I was pushing light in hand as I climbed off the ground and it twisted a little less than a quarter turn. Light had been on continously for about 20 min. Now light does not work and seemes to have a small 1/16th of an inch gap between body and bezel. There was also a small grey circle of what seemed to be grease around it. The bezel according to Surefire is permanantly attached. I am not going to screw with it and will mail back to them next week. My question is have any of you had a similar issue. I have a theory that I want to float but am hesitant.

| Surefire has always been top notch with there lights and customer service. You used to be able to upgrade to LED by simply screwing of the bezel and dropping the LED unit in. Then they decided to make the H.O. units sealed in place. I think the sealed units are not as durable. Slip on is not as durable as threaded. Any thoughts? |
