I wasn't sure what forum to put this on.

If I mix up tannerite and don't shoot it at the range is it safe to bring it home until the next range session?  What if it is a long time like 6 months?

I had a friend with a 2 liter coke bottle of mixed tannerite. It sat in his office for a few months without problem. Be generally careful and you should be fine.

Just how powerful is tannerite? would it blowup a stump in a pasture? I've heard old people talk about dynamiting stumps so I was just wondering?

The tannerite won't be effected buy storing it till the next time mixed.  However, once it is mixed, it can't be transported unless you are DOT certified to transport Explosives.  That is why it is shipped seperate, so that they can avoid the DOT requirements.

If I recall correctly, you must also use it the day it is mixed, unless you have a proper explosives storage magazine.

I believe you're correct as well.

So the whole of this is, mix up only as much as you plan to use, and use it all, don't transport or store any of it unless you know the requirement and you follow them.
