The NHRPC Precision Rifle Program is opening the season with a Pro/Am team event. The goal of the event is to draw attraction from new shooters who are not familiar with long range precision shooting and long range competition. Right now we have approximately half of the spaces assigned; about 2/3 of the amatuers that have registered are doing so with a "Pro" already named and their respective Pro shooters have mostly signed up. When I go through the list it is easy to see that there is going to be a need for Pro level guys to participate. Click here to register "Pro" is a loose term to avoid stacking the amateur class with guys that are still decently adept and don't necessarily need coaching for every single evolution. Pro status is defined as participation in 2 or more MDSS events, Reade Range, Black Hat, PRS etc matches as well as any tabbed school graduates from military or law enforcement schools. All match proceeds go to NHRPC. There are no prizes at this event, specifically because we do not want a prize table getting in the way of the fellowship with new participants. |
