| A long time back, prior to my cancer diagnosis, I bought a Zumspot RPi and had it setup and working with my Yeasu dual band. I didn't do anything with it and basically forgot about it after my Yeasu radio died. So, now I have bought a new Yeasu dual band. When I went to setup the Zumspot, the thing will not initialize and therefore I cannot configure it. So, I went to the Zumspot web page and they don't even list the RPi model. What do I do now? it was a little expensive and I hate to throw it away. Is there anyway that I can get it to recover. I cannot find an rPI image anywhere, I am wondering if it is similar enough to use an image for any other of their products. Does anyone know? |

| Your SD card might be corrupted. You can always format it and reflash the card with a new image. Whatever you do don't throw it out. |

Get you a new install of the hotspot software and avoid version mismatch frustrations between your hotspot and net servers. To analogize this a bit: What you have is an IBM compatible computer, and you're installing the operating system. You don't need a "specific" firmware package. The OS will figure out what specifically it is on install and build itself appropriately. The analogy is very imperfect. So don't everyone come at me.

WPSD is easy to setup and by default will have required Nextion drivers to control the Zumspot LCD display. I have found it by far the least difficult software to install and use with a MMDVM hotspot, regardless of who makes it. |
