Exactly as stated above... All the other forums have photo threads, tacked at the top. Why not wilderness camp photos?

We found this plane while hiking an old Indian trail out in the Everglades. Probably an old drug smuggling plane from the 80's, it must've been there a long time it was picked-over and shot-up and out in the middle of nofuckingwhere. Hot as fuck, it was too. A rough day in the backcountry always beats a day in the city though!!

I was brainwashed (I mean taught...lol) that the round door is a "gear access panel" and the straight zip was the door. But I agree fully about the ease & storage. I am always happy just to be able to get out & set up a tent, aswell. I don't give much thought, anymore, to the "camo efficiency" either. I set up my fly one triip in the middle of winter with the green side out. Looked like a green soccerball in a snowbank. LMAO!!! Pathfinder |

Two weeks ago me and a group of friends attempted to climb Mt. Whitney 14,500Ft+/-. Due to weather we did not make it to the top.
But in the end I got a 5 day camping trip out of it, at many different locations on and off the mountain. Here are the pictures:

However, half of our group, in really good shape, still attempted to summit and failed due to weather just as predicted. We only heard of one group that made it to the top that week and they had to camp for 4 days at the upper camp waiting for the proper weather, and keep in mind it was very cold and no fires were allowed.
