Havent posted in a while, but I finally got back in the game. Over the summer I caught my first cobia just south of Mississippi, and just this week caught a nice wahoo trolling across the Gulf of Mexico from AL to key west. The wahoo was 45 lb on that scale. the cobia was 20 pounds I think.

But yeah it hit at 12 knots and kept running until we got the boat stopped and I could get a few turns on it. It was shaking its head and dove deep. I was worried the line was going to go all the way under the boat. We can’t exactly walk the lines around the back like you can on a center console.
