Sleeping bags, flashlights, backpacks A good assortment of pocket knives It may not seem like the most survival-related thing, but if someone was toying around with solar power or something, this could be a great way to save gas for short travelling. Electric Bicycles! |

Bret So do they work ok or are they just cheap china junk? Well, They point north...pretty shure that's how they work... They all seem to work quite well, and they are small, not as nice as my mapping compass...but this is on every jacket, bag, rifle compartment...so, it WILL be with me...gf also put them on her jackets and purse... They are small and ver unobtrusive... The biggest deal is at this price and size you can put on on every jacket, bag etc...not going to forget everything...I hope! Bret |

Hi I hope you find this useful for more than outdoor gear. I love lands end winter jackets and they are currently on season clearance.
mens clearance I've gotten these for myself and son. My experience with the youth clothing is that their products are durable, effective and warm. This is the first time i was able to get items for myself. I have gotten the items and they are high quality. They have men's, women's and children's clothes on clearance. Stock early for next year! |

Rural King has a sale on Plano ammo cans. 30 cal size, $5 each.
They're decent, I have a few. Not as solid as the metal cans of course, but no worries about them rusting and they do have the rubber gasket for the lid. I had to pay tax and shipping, but they still came out quite a bit less than even Amazon. You can check out with paypal. Play with the shipping costs. http://www.ruralking.com/plano-molding-1312-field-ammo-box-od-green-1312-50.html |

Uncle Sam's Retail Outlet has 25% off your entire order for Labor Day. Says it starts Aug 31, but I haven't tried to see if it's turned on now.
It's always worth looking at, but I thought some folks might like the ammo cans: http://www.unclesamsretailoutlet.com/category-s/357.htm Tactical Tailor also has 30 or 35% off their items too. |

a variation on the $3.55 amazon flashlight, this one is almost identical, it's on eBay for $10.95 shipped, includes the flashlight that runs on a single 14500, 2- 14500 batteries and a charger, yep 3.7 volt 14500's, cheapies (surefire, as is the light) and a cheap charger. Not rated but it's much much brighter than the AA lights, i'd say probably 220 lumens or so.
Notes: 1. This will only run on 14500's, not AA's, the 3.55 amazon lights will run on either but don't know how stable it would be to run them on 14500 for any length of time. 2. As the flashlight fanatics will tell you, multiple disclaimers here, cheap li-ion's can be dangerous, and cheap chargers can add to that issue. But this deal is cheap cheap and maybe a decent backup/trade item for the worst case scenario, be careful, charge 'em outside and/or buy a nice charger if you do get into using li-ions. $10.95 i'm satisfied, light is nice and bright, cool gift item too. Sale is good for another day yet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161153442296?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 |
